Day 1: Check-in & Golden Temple

Morning:

On arrival at Amritsar: Transfer to your Hotel. Check-in and freshen up.

Hotel Breakfast: Fuel up for your day.

Late Morning:

Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib):

Go to the very famous Golden Temple. Go for a divine visit around the sanctuary grounds to feel that tranquility. Make sure to visit the community kitchen (Langar) where free meals are served to tens of thousands every day.

Afternoon:

Take a walk to visit the nearby Jallianwala Bagh, historic garden and memorial Importance in Indian freedom struggle.

Evening:

Wagah Border Ceremony:

Proceed for Beating Retreat Ceremony at Wagah Border Drive to the Wagah border (32kms from Amritsar) and watch Flag lowering ceremony called as retreat, it is a daily military practice security forces of India (BSF) & Pakistan Army jointly followed since 1959. It is rather a colorful and patriotic version of india pakistan border closing ceremony.

Dinner:

Dinner: Return to Amritsar and have a traditional Punjabi dinner at local restaurant or back in the hotel.

Overnight: Amritsar-(Hotel)

Day 2: Heritage & Culture

Morning:

Breakfast at the Hotel.

Partition Museum —

Visit the Partition Musem to know in more detail about effects of 1947 partition on India

Late Morning:

Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum:

Visit the museum which is established in the summer palace of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. It exhibits artifacts dating back to the Maharaja era.

Afternoon:

Having Lunch at Local Eatery: Ordering authentic Amritsari food at a local restaurant.

Gobindgarh Fort–

It is a historic fort, also depicting the military history of Amritsar along with some cultural performances.

Evening:

Shopping and Exploration: Go shopping at Amritsars crowded markets such as Katra Jaimal Singh or Hall Bazaar Here, you can get classic Punjab attires and varieties of phulkari (embroidery) in suits also, besides handicrafts.

Dinner:

Regional Punjabi Cuisine: dine at one of the famous local restaurant serving Amritsari specialties for Dinner.

Itinerary: Proceed by road to your hotel for overnight.

Day 3: Temples & Departure

Morning:

Breakfast at the Hotel.

Durgiana Temple Pay homage to Mother Goddess at Durgiana temple and the architecture of Golden Temple may give you a remembrance there.

Late Morning:

Ram Tirath Temple:

Visit this ancient temple linked to the Ramayana epic that is considered as the birthplace of Lava and Kusha, who were born from Sita.

Afternoon:

Lunch stay time — lunch in a local restaurant. Enjoy a bit of your free time strolling the latest tourist hot spots or getting in one last shopping spree.

Evening:

Departure: Check-out from the hotel and go to railway station or airport for your next journey.
